This black and white negative depicts what appears to be a man preaching at an outdoor church service. He stands on cement steps in front of a mortared stone structure with a carved stone cross on top of it. There are containers with flowers on either side of the altar (?) and a sign at the base (which is illegible). On the right side of the image an audience stands behind a low rail. They appear to be dressed in their Sunday best and some hold cameras. Many of the figures wear hats. There are loose stones on the ground at the left. |
