Image Description |
This black and white negative depicts the Family dining room in the Dwelling House, decorated with garlands along the ceiling. The opal-glass topped tables and chairs were purchased in June 1914; the tables were seven feet long and three feet wide. The chairs had brown leather seats. There are garlands of what look like bells on the walls and windows. A wood stove and vent pipe are at the right. Very small fir trees are next to the serving table folded against the wall and on the deep window ledges. There are glass light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. On the far wall is a chair made by Micajah Tucker. |
