This black and white photograph depicts a scene from "The Bird's Christmas Carol" performed as an Entertainment in the Chapel on December 25, 1930. There are five standing figures and seven sitting figures in this picture. At the left stands Helen in a light dress, light stockings, and high heeled shoes. Next to her is Beatrice (Stackpole?), dressed in men's clothing. She wears glasses, a three-piece suit, tie, carnation, handkerchief, and has her hair slicked back. Toward the center stands Bertha Lindsay in a white wig with headband and white night shirt. At the right of the seated group is Laura, dressed in maid's costume. An obscured figure stands at the right in waiter's clothes with a turkey held on a platter. Seven girls sit in assorted chairs around the table, which is laden with fake candles, flowers, plates, table cloth and etc. |
