This black and white stereograph/ stereoview on tan card depicts the Trustees' Building prior to 1880 (no South Kitchen). Windows and doors are open. A man stands beside a fence along Shaker Road wearing a long jacket, hat, and trousers. A 2-horse wagon is heading down Shaker Road, driven by a Brother. The wagon is stenciled at front with "Shaker Village, NH". A sister is in the front seat (with cape, dress and bonnet). The wagon has 3 seats, each with three sisters. The sisters all wear long sun bonnets, capes, and dresses. 1 brother stands in the foreground wearing a long jacket, hat, trousers and white shirt. Two sisters stand in the south doorway. The north doorway has a sign "Trustees Office" and inside shows a white painted wall with peg rail. 2 bonnets and jackets hang on the pegrail. A 1-horse-drawn carriage with a brother (possibly Henry Blinn) and sister is behind the wagon. The loading dock or carriage platform is to the right. The Red Building is behind it.
